A Strategic partnership with M/S. Alere Inc - a US based billion dollor company with more than 23 offices spread across the world with a total strength of 12000 employees.
Primarily, Alere is in to Point of care testing in Cardiac markers, Diabetes, HBA1C, CBC/Hemogram, and Lipid Profile. Apart from the POC testing - Alere is also into Health Mangement Services (Wellness and Well being) and these services are offered for Corporates and big MNCs. In the month of Jan 12 - Alere India is opening up wellness centers in Delhi and Bangalore.
The avenues of strategic partnership with M/S. Alere India are presented below
- Promotion of PathCare’s services by Alere Marketing Team. The promotion would be carried out by the sales team and to identify the clients viz., small and medium nursing homes, pathological labs, hospitals and clinicians
- PathCare would provide lab testing services at subsidized rates to Alere Health Management Services
- PathCare would open collection centers in corporates or any wellness centers established by Alere, if required.
- PathCare would provide space in all the new regional clinical labs if required for setting up of wellness centers
- POC equipment would be placed in all the regional labs for important parameters.
- PathCare would identify 50 Franchisee collection centers or clinicians to market the services (tests) by POC equipment. To achieve this – Alere should offer POC equipment and the consumables at subsidized cost to PathCare. Required training on the POC equipment to be given to the sales and collection center staff of PathCare.
- Joint promotion of TESTS using POC equipment would be done both by PathCare and Alere.
- All test reports for POC and Health Management would have both the company logos which enhance the brand building of both the companies.
